"FACING THE FIRE " FIREWALK WORKSHOP

 On September 8th, 2012, we will gather once again on the land and in the home of C L Hickerson, 1863 Locust Grove Dr., Franklinville, NC (Ph: 336-858-8117) to participate in the "Facing the Fire" firewalk workshop. 

For hundreds of years, fire has been used in rituals, ceremonies, and celebrations.  Tests of courage and strength often utilize the power of fire, while those being tested recognized the opportunity to face the greatest challenge of all.

The power behind firewalking calls into focus the opportunity to connect with our Higher Power and to then put our faith to the test.

On Saturday, Sept. 8th, the workshop will begin at 7pm and conclude after the firewalk about 10:30 pm.  The following morning, at 10 am, we return to complete the process by wrapping and decorating our Spirit arrows.

IN PRAISE OF FIRE

I am so excited about the advanced "In Praise of Fire" workshop to be held October 5th, 6th and 7th at Sacred Grove Retreat Center, 15750 Mattons Grove Church Rd., Gold Hill, NC (www.SacredGroveRetreat.com Ph: 704-463-0768)
I have been dreaming about this workshop for the past few years and have spoken of it at several of my firewalk workshops.
This workshop is ONLY for those people who have attended a firewalk previously.  This does not mean you have to have walked on fire in order to attend.  You simply have to understand the principles of firewalking.  I will not be teaching the principles of firewalking at this workshop.
This event will be residential and there are enough spaces in the cabins for 16 participants.  However, there is on-site tent camping for anyone who would like to avail themselves of that feature.

The workshop will include several opportunities for each of us to dig deeper into our fears and to step more fully into our connection with Spirit/God.  Through such exercises as a "trust" fall, emotional release work, and my personal favorite, rebar bending, we will have many opportunities to discover what is holding us back from experiencing the depth and breadth of our personal power.
The cost of the workshop is $244.00 which includes the workshop fee, all materials associated with the workshop and 6 meals, beginning with supper on Friday evening and concluding with lunch on Sunday.  An additional $54.00 per night (or $108.00) will cover the cost of lodging.  If anyone wants to camp, the cost is $25.00 per night.  There is a $50.00 non-refundable fee due by September 15th.  This will insure your place in the workshop.   I look forward to seeing each of you there!!!
